Meet the Team

Most kitchen companies want to talk to you about kitchens. We’d rather, just this once, talk to you about people. Because when you commission a kitchen, you’re not really buying cabinets and worktops. You’re trusting a handful of individuals to get something right in your home over several months — and it helps to know who they are.

Kutchenhaus is a family business. Three brothers run it day to day, across three west London showrooms in Acton, Ruislip and Twickenham. That isn’t a line for a brochure; it’s how decisions actually get made here. When something needs sorting, it’s sorted by someone whose name is on the door.

The brothers

Musty heads up the side of the business you’ll feel even before you walk in — the design conversations, the way a showroom runs, the people we hire. Fifteen years in the kitchen industry means he’s seen every way a project can go right and every way it can go wrong, and he’s built the team around avoiding the second.

Mahdi is our award-winning designer, based at Ruislip. He’s the one who takes the rough shape of what you want — the half-formed idea, the Pinterest board, the “I’m not sure this will work” — and turns it into a plan that does. Good design isn’t imposing a look; it’s listening closely enough to build the kitchen you didn’t quite know how to describe.

Mo is our Technical Surveyor and Project Manager, with a decade in the field. He’s the reason a kitchen that looks right on paper also fits, plumbs and works in the real room — down to the millimetre. When a delivery needs chasing or a fitter needs coordinating, Mo is the calm at the centre of it.

The people you’ll also meet

A kitchen is never a one-person job. Hiba designs alongside the team at Acton, and clients tend to remember her for the same reason they remember Mahdi — she builds on your ideas rather than replacing them. Alex, our fitter, is the person who turns all of it into something real, and he’s the name our clients single out again and again in their reviews for doing careful work, efficiently.

Behind them sits a wider team keeping projects moving — coordinating surveys, orders, deliveries and the hundred small things that have to line up for a kitchen to arrive on time and go in cleanly.

Why any of this matters to you

Here’s the honest reason we’re introducing ourselves. Around seven in ten people who ask us for a brochure aren’t ready to buy yet — and that’s completely fine. A kitchen is a big decision and it should take the time it takes. But when you are ready, the question underneath every other question is the same: can I trust these people in my home?

We’d rather you knew the answer to that long before you’re standing in a showroom. So consider this an introduction. When the time comes, you won’t be dealing with a call centre or a faceless chain — you’ll be dealing with a family, a named designer, a surveyor who’s measured a thousand rooms, and a fitter our clients ask for by name.
